Why are you looking for love
Why are you still searching as if I'm not enough
To where will you go child
Tell me where will you run
To where will you run
Uio trudged up the bare mountain. Each paw step created a mini hole of snow. The chilling flakes stuck to his pelt, fighting off the urge to shiver. He had to act brave and strong. Bee and Beu were behind him, he had been chosen to lead the way. Of course he was the only male. Uio was a half-brother to Bee and Beu, but since the death of their mothers and the departure of their fathers he had been the only guardian they had. But for a while Bee and Beu had been searching for mates. It made Uio feel left out, unwanted. It was like they no longer needed him, he was just another member of their group. Not a leader, not their source of strength and hope. Groaning as he lost feeling in his paws he kept up the trek. "Why are we doing this again?" he called out. Though the answer had been answered hundreds of times he still wondered. He still had hope that the answer would someday change.
Bee groaned as she heard Uio question, again. He asked the same thing every time they searched another place for life signs. Why are we here? Why are we doing this? She knew he was confused, he didn't like change. Never had. But he could at least be a little sensitive, show a bit of care. Beu and her sister wanted, no needed this. It was what they had hoped for, since they were tiny pups. A family, someone to always be there for you. A home. It was something they had never experienced. Their family constantly moved. It was like a deer heard, moving away from the threats. It killed all of them, they were just three lone wolves trying to survive on their own.
Beu glanced over and saw Bee groan. She knew her annoyance, she felt it as well. Though she held it back inside. This was hard for Uio, change sucked. Also if they both left he would be alone. That would mentally kill him. So they tried to put the change on him gradually. Going off on longer hunts without him. Trying to make the separation easier. He knew what they were doing though. It probably made the pain worse. Pain. The cold sent chills down her back and made her shiver. Her earing bounced against her head as she shook. Her bracelet had frosted over, gold replaced with white. She pressed her pelt closer into Bee's. Searching for the warmth and comfort that Uio normally gave them.
