Scourge stood at the top of the hill, the wind stirred his pelt. It caused and eerie feeling to sift through the others that stood behind him. Grinning he looked down at the meadow below the hill, it looked so peaceful and pleasant. Of course it wouldn't be like that for long. Soon the grass would be covered in blood splatters, the flowers would be trampled and crushed, it would no longer be a place for peace. Stories would be told about this meadow, and the bloody battle that was about to take place. Scourge wasn't afraid though, this was the revenge he was looking for. The Fang's had ruined his life, now it was his turn to ruin theirs. He cast a glance back at the others that stood. They looked at the ground and tapped their feet, he knew they were scared. They should be. A few may die, he wouldn't doubt it. The Fang's were vicious and blood thirsty, this battle would be no different than the others they had fought. Looking over at Snowstar Scourge studied her. She proudly stood beside him, her chest puffed, her face determined. He wondered what she was thinking, was she scared? Excited? Proud? Shrugging away the thought he braced himself. A battle was about to begin, one that would change Shadowclan forever.

Snowstar kept her head forward, her chest puffed out, determined. She has raised tough clan, and knew the Fang's would be no different. Some of my wolves may even die! Snowstar thought, starting to lose her puff. She pushed out her chest more, trying not to show how scared she was. If she died, her trusty deputy Konpaku would take over, and he would choose a deputy. Life would go on as it did, just without Snowstar, and probably some other wolves. But this did not mean she would run away like the last battle against the fangs that she fought. Oh no, this time, she would fight to the death if needed. This time, all of Shadowclan was depending on her. She would die fighting the Fangs, winning or losing, as she should have with the Asagi Pack. No. Not now. That was the past, and the past can't be undone. She thought, and sniffed the air trying to catch the scent of the Fangs. It was faint, but coming closer. The Fangs were coming.

Of course, Ian was there as well. He was simply waiting for something to happen, but could he care for much more? He wanted excitement, and a battle surely did answer his queries. Snowstar and old Scourge wasn't thinking the same thing, though. He lay near them and yawned quietly. He wanted to say something. He could've said something. But, to most people, whatever he said was either derogatory or offensive, so he kept his mouth shut. Suddenly, he perked up. Something abnormal caught him off guard. He didn't see it, but he did smell it. He put his paws over his nose, to keep the scent away. Everyone hated the fangs, but he was more or less quite sensitive. Their scent was an extremely different one, and was extremely strong. "Snowie, shouldn't we be getting ready at all?" He knew that 'Snowie' was not the best nickname for Snowstar at the moment, but in his mind it sounded a lot better than it really did now.

Fern twitched nervously. She gulped, this battle will change Shadowclan forever. A pelt brushed against hers and she turned to see who it was. Glitch stood next to Fern. A determined look flashed across his face. Cant believe he has to do this aloneFern thought bitterly.Hearing the name Snowie from Ian almost made her laugh, but this wasn't the time for jokes. it made Glitch laugh a bit. more of a frightened laugh. Fern had no training...this was the real deal.
Glitch was shaking, but he had to look strong. Besides he had a whole clan to look after. Glitch looked at Scourge. Sometimes he was frightened to heal him. Scourge was way to snappy.

Scourge glared at Ian. "What do you think we're doing? Everyone has prepared, we are waiting." The wind blew harder, causing his fur to blow as well. The clouds grew closer together and became more gray. A storm was coming. He growled, the Fang's were coming. Soon. He could feel it.

Kory stood nervously. He looked around. He was terrified but tried his best to hide it. He kinda of failed though. He was shaking. He looked at the older wolves and wondered it they where as scared as he was.
Aqua sat down. They hadn't let her come. It wasn't fair!!!!! She wanted to fight but they had told her to stay in the nursery. She didn't want to stay in the nursery. She poked her head out of the nursery. No one was there. They had all went to the battle. Aqua walked out. She was NOT going to stay in camp. She walked out and started to wonder.

"Goodness, Scourge, you're in another bad mood today, eh?" Ian yawned again, a slight bit tired to argue with his best tactics. His paws were still over his nose, therefore he looked quite ridiculous. "But then again," he said in a somewhat low voice, "today isn't exactly a perfect day to be smiling in." Good day or not, Scourge was a very grumpy person. he was often in a bad mood no matter what time of day or what type of weather, though it seemed he was grumpier on ugly days. Today, he thought, may have been an ugly day.
He grimaced as the scent got stronger, and soon he realized, his paws weren't going to be a very good shield.

Scourge glared at Ian again. He knew they all hated him, they all thought he was a grump. But he didn't care, that's the way he wanted it. Today would prove his point. Some would die, but he didn't like any of them. So their passing wouldn't bother him like.... others did. Squinting his eyes to try to see as far as possible Scourge thought he may have seen shapes in the distance. Many shapes. His frown became a grin, they were coming. The Fangs were coming.

Alasdair had just joined the pack this morning and already he was in battle. He trooted up beside Scourge and looked at him. It was quite windy and a gross stench had came along with it. "is that them, is that their scent?" he ask Scourge. He had only known the Shadow clan smell and this was deffinatly not their smell. He looked at all the apprentices they were here too. Starclan please bless them and make sure they don't get too hurt. He prayed. They were so young and didn't deserve to die this younng. he slid his veiw over to Snowstar. She was an eligant wolf an she looked more than ready to rip the throat out of any wolf who dare hurt her clan. Then he gazed foward. He would be ready too.
In the back Lionpaw slunked low. He had onlylearned his first move today and hewas going into a fight hopefully there would be other young wolves that didn't know crap in Fangs pack. He would hunt the wolves just like he had hunted the voles and deer he had caught. He would be ready this time and he would show is mentor his abilities

Scourge only gave a curt nod. It was their scent. The smell of blood and rotting flesh. It was disgusting. He wrinkled his nose as the smell got closer and closer. They were really close now. He could actually make out shapes in the distance, definitely the Fang's. He searched for a particular figure, he soon found it. Grim. Today was his time for revenge, today we the time to avenge Oakoa. He had been waiting for this day for at least a year. A evil grin spread across his face. Today would be a wonderful day.

Snowstar had winced at Ian's nickname. That was her name as a pup in the Asagi Pack. She told herself to never be called by that name. Now, that was broken, and now a lie. But she could now make out the shapes in front of her. She could see Venom, and Shark. Those two were the reasons she had run away from the Asagi Pack that night. She pushed the thought away. Never again would she think about that pack. Snowstar held her tail up, a signal to get ready. She watched the Fangs get closer, closer, so they were almost in the meadow.

(lol i love claws name @o@) "What a mornin'." Claw chuckled, as if on drunken stupor. Of course, he was extremely tired, for he never sleeps very much. He hated sleeping, it passed the time much too quickly. He yawned loudly and peered at Grim, shooting him a slight glare, asking him a question in place of his ask. "Grimmy, boy, when're we starting?" He yawned again, "I'm horribly tired, dearest, it's certainly getting to me." He was walking and rubbed his eyes wearily. He wanted to say more, but it wasn't all too important to say. More or less, he was sipmly tired and wanted to complain. Grim happened not to like protests coming from someone like Claw, but he could care less. You see, he was a very selfish wolf, caring for himself more than others. He had a slightly darker personality than most, but everyone else around him were the same way. "Ah, it's such a rainy day. As much as it matches th' atmosphere it's still just a...tiring decor to where we're at." He said to himself, with a slight lonely tone.

Grim shot Claw a mad look. "Stop complaining. You know what happens to those who complain..." He gave an evil grin. The one that showed pointed, yellow teeth. He stood in the front of the line, leading the others to battle. He was almost confident that no one would die, Shadowclan was a bunch of sissys anyway. Well there was Scourge... He gave another one of his terrifying grins. Today he would cause Scourge even more pain, and he would enjoy it very much. Causing others pain was one his hobbies, or he just really enjoyed it. But didn't all Fangs?

Venom looked down in sympathy for Claw. "And a moment of silence for Claw...." Venom murmured, too lowly for others to hear. But he really did feel bad for Claw. If he complains too much, he could....Well, lets not say that phrase. Venom felt the adrenaline start to pump in his body. They were walking in the meadow.
-----------------
Snowstar gasped as the Fangs walked into the meadow. "Scourge, I need to ask you one thing before I die........Can we name the camp Campo? I mean, it would be easier for me to say, 'everyone repot back to Campo'. And it sounds cooler!" Snowstar wasn't trying to be funny, but it just came out that way. She was not able to support it in any other way, because then it would sound like she was trying to be funny. Which obviously, she was not. Some of her subjects (victims) were going to die! She did feel sympathy, but only for Shadowclan. Not for the Fangs that she would kill. Snowstar quickly flung her tail down, and charged into the meadow. She had one wolf in mind to attack. Venom.
