Today lives a sad wolf. One filled with more melancholy than others.
A sad pitiful wolf who pretends he needs no pity and prefers to be alone and makes it clear that way. This entire day, he has either scared or rudely yelled at those who he thought were interferences. That was probably everybody; he thought everybody was a nuisance. But today, he was grouchier than usual, and the purple-orange evening sky seemed to match his emotions today quite well.

Sien saw Ian, he was sitting in a clearing. Sien walked over to him, but kept his distance. Today was one of Ian's bad days. He would yell at everyone as if his emotions were their fault. When Sien would reach out to Ian to read his feelings he would find a swarm of anger and sadness. But since he could not read his thoughts Sien never knew why he was angry. So carefully and quietly Sien sat down a few yards away from Ian, hoping he wouldn't yell.

There'd been too many things on his mind lately, most of which he didn't understand and the rest that he hated thinking of. He had ignored thinking of these 'things', until something made him want to face his past. That must've been one of the most stupid things I could ever do, he thought. Maybe it was to make himself tougher, since he had always been a coward when confronted with his past. Or maybe it was something he felt he had to do. But the thing was that he couldn't do anything about it.
And in the corner of his eye, he saw Sien, and immediately turned hostile but didn't saay a word. At least, he tried not to, anyway. "What're you doing here, Sien?"

Sien shrugged, seeing the hostile look in Ian's eye he tried not to anger him even more. "I..well...um...I was just walking...and...I...um.....saw you and decided to......uh.....stop by." He tried to swallow his fear, he hated talking to others! It made him so nervous!

He glanced at Sien and then looked away, suddenly feeling a bit guilty for getting angry at Sien, but also a bit sorry for himself as well. He now felt a bit depressed as he looked away from the other wolf, and then sighed. "Why'd you want to stop by some wolfie like me, eh?" He asked in a lazy tone as he scratched his ear.

(Does Ian know about Sien's power?)
Sien shrugged, "I-I dunno. You just looked......lonely." Sien felt guilt from Ian, he wondered why. Guilt was not something he normally got from Ian, unless he was feeling it toward himself. He also got sadness. Now why was Ian always sad?
(Dude! What would happen ifn Scourge and Ian met? xD Imma laughing just thinking about it!)

(Haha, if they did...hey, just imagine something with Yo-mama jokes getting thrown at Scourge. c: ) (And let's assume he doesn't, I think it'll get kind of interesting.) "Well I'm not. I'm not lonely, I'm just kind of, kind of..." He drifted away then, but looking back at that one word. Lonely. That was one word he hated the most. He wasn't lonely- at least, he thought he wasn't. When he was like this, he had always lied to himself. He ignored the reality he was really in, and changed it to fit how he felt. It was a horrible habit. "I'm just kind of...sad." That could've been the most optimistic way to explain such a feeling.

Sien shrugged, not wanting to tell Ian he really was lonely. "Well why are you sad?" He braced himself for some screaming and yelling. He could that Ian was lonely, sad, angry, and somewhat confused. Sien got this sympathetic look on his face. Why was this wolf in this kind of state?

What an unnecessary question to ask, he thought. But that was probably the most common question that goes around to someone at least once. A first time for everything? I think not. This probably could've been the 40th time someone's asked him that. "I'm sad for my own reason, thanks," He replied cruelly. Nobody needed to know why he felt this way, was what he was thinking, but he was actually at a loss of words. He couldn't say how he was feeling into real, true words. If he had tried, than he'd have lied.

A loud silence then covered up the next ten minutes or so. Silence was probably the worst part of a conversation. It was when you wait and wait for someone to say something, but then you realize they're not going to say much. Ian wasn't a fan of these gaps. But he was at a loss to say something as well. Should he apologize? What can he do? "Do you know that feeling..." he started to say, albeit a little absentmindedly, "where you wonder a lot? I mean, about things people normally wouldn't think of?" He tried hard not to stutter, and failed. "Like, why we're here? Or, why did certain things have to happen and how come it happened?" He grew a bit quiet, and then whispered, "Kinda like, what if those things were your fault?"
