"One.. two.. three...four., Pups fall down, by the score..." Came the low murmur accross the silent landscape. A long figure sat perched at the edge of the woodlands. Her one good eye glistening wildly in darkness. Rays of moonlight crept down through the tree tops, illuminating variable spots of the terrain. High above, the moon hung nearly full. Nightfall let a raspy fog of cool breath pour from her lungs, watching the distant orb in the sky only a moment longer before she turned. Shifting on her paws to carry on with her deed.
The scent was fresh still.. I know your here. "Five... six... seven... eight.. the snow won't stop, frozen hate." Nightfall crooned in a soft whisper. Sniffing quietly her head lwoered, the remaining half of her tail wagging in anticipation as she circled around an outcrop of trees and then back again. The rabbit had definately gone this way; and while Nightfall could pick up the small distinct odors of others, she wasn't about to turn around. Hunger drove the creature now, and until her belly was full - she'd follow it it.
