Well I know everyone has been waiting for this. Its not done yet. I had to rewrite chapter 1 and most likely will end up rewriting the rest of the chapters. I'll I have right now it the prolouge. I have had to rewrite it 3 times!!!!!! I will most likely end up rewriting it again so don't be surprised if I do. So here it is!!!!!!! Please comment.
Prologue Flames leaped up over the trees. Smoke rose high in the air. The moon was covered by a thick stream of smoke as it filled the air. A rocky cliff loomed before it. Shadows covered the ground as the fire roared closer. A single shape raced towards the cliff. It moved fast but could barely out run the flames. As it approached the cliffs its shape became clear. It was a wolf. Her paws tore grass out of the ground in a desperate attempt to out run the fire. Seeing the cliff she pushed her hind legs harder against the ground. In a quick, smooth movement she bunched up her hind legs and leaped as high as she could. Her claws dug into the cliff side. She could feel the heat of the fire singeing her back. Smoke clouded around her making it hard to see or breath. Sputtering she gathered her strength and pushed up. Her front paws lunged forward grabbing the next hold and digging her claws into it while she used her back legs to push her self up. She dangled for only a second before her hind legs found something to hold onto. She began to repeat this process just like she had learned when she was an apprentice. On the top of the page a shape appeared. A muzzle stained with smoke poked out over the edge. “Are you ok!” The new wolf called to her. She pushed off with her hind legs and quickly grabbed the next set of footholds. Suddenly the rock she had her front paw on broke. Yelping she swing. Holding on with one paw she looked at the wolf. She would recognize him anywhere. It was her mate. Her mate seemed to noticed something. “Where are the others?” He called over the roar of the fire. She glanced down guiltily. She had done what she had to do. “Where are they!” He repeated again this time louder. Panic was clearly in his voice. She finally motioned with her tail behind her. “You left them!” This time the males voice was filled with outrage. His muscular shape got bigger when her fluffed out his fur. “I had to!” She cried desperately hoping that he would understand. She was starting to lose her grip. She looked up at his amber eyes which was very visible through the smoke. His amber eyes blazed with anger. “Why did you have to do it?” He finally asked after what seemed like an eternity. “Well he was getting in the way. He was getting between us.” She said. “What are you talking about?!” The male barked. He looked at her. A surge of love for her flowed through him. He loved everything about her. Her soft cream fur, the way her emerald eyes looked at his, and most of all her caring personality that was all too trusting. She looked at him. “You....You......” She stumbled for words realizing that she had gone off of what one wolf had told her. Regret filled her. What had she just done?! Her mate just stood there and watched. She felt her grip slipping. “Help!” She yelped. The male made no move to help. The fire raged beneath them. Tears filled her eyes. Looking up at her mate she said “What out for a wolf who wants to betray us.” With that her paws slipped and she plummeted into the fire. The male didn't move. The flames leaped up reviling the males yellow fur. With that the male spun around and ran off along the cliff that had became as familiar as his own pelt. Rain started to fall drenching everything it touched.

Chapter 1
I blinked open my eyes. I could feel my mothers soft fur pressed up against mine. It was so warm and comforting. I snuggled deeper into it. My mom’s name is Nora. She has long creamy white fur and rainbow ears. She has the best emerald eyes. My fathers name is Tocsin and he is yellow with a green underbelly and tail tip. His eyes are amber like mine. I heard talking coming from outside. I looked out but couldn’t tell what was going on. My curiosity urged me outside. I gave into it and stood up. I walked outside and looked around. Almost all the clan was there. They where sitting in circles that were scattered around the clearing. I heard my mom follow me out of the den. Seeing my dad I bounded over. He looked up as I came over. “Dad is there trouble or something?” I blurted out when I got close enough so that he could hear me without me having to scream. “The Pack of Asagi have been defeated by some wolves who call themselves the Fang's.” Dad said. He looked unsure if it was a good thing or bad thing. “Calling all of those old enough to catch their own prey join beneath the hanging ledge for a clan meeting.” Kayo, the clan leader called. Kayo is a reddish brown wolf with light yellow paws. He stood on top of the hanging ledge, his fur looked like it was glowing from the light of the sun. The clan started to gather, sitting in circles. Murmuring started up and Kayo signaled with his tail for silence. “We have just received news. The Pack of Asagi was defeated last night by a group of wolves who call themselves The Fang's.” Kayo said. Murmuring even louder then before erupted from around the clearing. “What now?” One wolf whispered. “No one has ever beat the Asagi pack before!” Another wolf murmured. Kayo signaled with his tail for everyone to be quiet but no one seemed to notice. I noticed that Kayo looked like he was getting kinda annoyed. “I have another announcement!” He had to screech for anyone to hear him. I looked up and the clearing started to quiet down a bit. “Well it is time that we made a new apprentice.” He called. I wondered who he was talking about. The only pup where me, Rockfall, Tim, and Tom. Tim, Tom, and Rockfall where all too young to be apprentices. I was almost six months old....... I'M BECOMING AN APPRENTICE!!!!!! “Acorn.” Kayo began. “Come forward.” He commanded. I felt like I was in a trance as I walked to the center of the clearing. Everyone's eyes was on me. I looked up at Kayo. “Acorn. You have reached the age of six months and it is time for you to become an apprentice.” He barked. Excitement flooded me. It went through me first at my nose then went all the way to my rainbow tail-tip. “I ask Starclan to watch over you and guide you till you find the strength in your paws and the courage to become a warrior.” Kayo continued. “Barkstorm. You are ready to take on an apprentice. You have received excellent training from your mentor and have shown yourself to be a brave, caring, and loyal warrior, I expect you to pass on all that you know to Acorn.” Barkface, a brown wolf with light brown wood grain markings, stepped forward. I stepped forward to meet him. I looked into his deep brown eyes and he looked into my amber eyes. Stretching out my muzzle to greet him so he did too. Are noses touched. As we pulled away, the clan started calling my name. “Acorn, Acorn, Acorn!” I looked around. Joy shot through me. It was stronger then anything I had felt before. I knew I would die to protect my clan and be the best warrior ever. I never would have guessed the price I would have to pay.............

I finished chapter two!!!!!!!!!! I hope you guys like it!!!!!!!
Chapter 2
I followed the clan excitedly. This would be my first gathering ever and I felt like I would burst with excitement. We walked into the clearing and I gasp. The oaks are HUGE!!!!!!! After a while I dragged my eyes down to the clearing. Boulderclan was the last clan to come. The clearing was packed with other wolves. My eyes were huge as I looked around. I hardly remembered to follow the clan down to the clearing. When we where there I got to look at the wolves up close. The warriors from the other clans where big. It kinda scared me. I looked around for some apprentices. The clan melted into the other clans and started to talk. My father was suddenly next to me. “Don’t be scared.” He whispered. “They won’t hurt you. There’s a truth.” I watched him walk over to some other warriors. Feeling a little lonely I looked around for a wolf who looked about my age. It had been only a week since I had been an apprentice but I had been allowed to come any ways. Para flashed up next to me. She was another apprentice. She is a pitch black wolf with a lime green peace sign on her chest and lime green eyes. ”I can take you to meet some other apprentices.” She offered. I looked at her. “Thanks.” I said. She started to walk over towards the edge of the clearing. I bounded after her. I soon saw a group of wolves. They looked like they where apprentices. As we walked up I saw the group look up. It made me feel self-conscious and I was glad that Para was there with me. I saw a wolf that looked about my age. He was green with glowing blue eyes and a blue tail tip. Karo, an all blue wolf with black stripes and gray paws, was there too. He is another Boulderclan apprentice. There was a yellow wolf with dark brown stripes and yellow eyes and a she-wolf with a pelt that is orange like a sunset. She has purple spots all over her body. Para walked over “This is Acorn.” She said introducing me. “Hi…” I said. My amber eyes scanned the apprentices nervously. “I’m Lightning.” The yellow wolf said. “My names Saran and this is my clanmate Morton.” The orange apprentice said. She pointed to the green wolf who must be Morton. “And I’m Lorrie.” A wolf from behind said. I jumped and spun around. I hadn’t noticed this wolf before. She was a brown wolf who had yellow paws. She seemed to have come from the shadows. Lorrie must be a Shadowclan wolf. I looked around trying to figure out what clan each wolf was part of. Saran and Morton must be part of Riverclan because of their fishy smell. That means Lightning is part of Lightningclan. Well that makes sense because his name is Lightning. I reasoned. It made sense. “It is time for the gathering to begin!” I heard Kayo call. I looked up. The gathering was beginning. Kayo stepped forward. “We have a new apprentice in Boulderclan. Acorn.” He looked around till he spotted me and fixed his gaze on me. All the other wolves turned to look at me making me feel nervous and exited at the same time. In a moment that went to fast and to slow everyone looked back at the leaders. “Prey is running well and we are strong as ever.” Kayo finished reporting. I watched him step back. A male walked out in front of the rock. His golden pelt glistened in the moonlight. “Who’s he??” I whispered to no one in particular. “That’s Goldenstar leader of Riverclan.” Lightning answered. Sensing the question I was about to say he answered. “The white wolf with the black paw is Swiftstar. He’s leader of Lightningclan. Then the black wolf is Holly who’s leader of Shadowclan.” Lightning explained. “Riverclan also has a new apprentice. Morton.” He announced. I looked at Morton. He looked extremely nervous. I looked back up as Goldenstar started to speak again. “Prey is plentiful in Riverclan.” He said. He stepped back and Swiftstar took is place. “Prey is running and the clan is strong.” Swiftstar spoke. Behind the announcement I could tell that there was a warning. “Lightningclan is strong and will defend its borders.” I watched him step back and Holly take his place. “All is well in Shadowclan.” She announced. “But there is something else.” She began. I wondered what that could be. I could tell that the wolves around me where wondering too. “What about this new group of wolves, The Fangs. We should do something about them.” She said. I heard murmuring break out among the clans. “We should!!!” Some wolf cried out. I didn’t know who it was. Goldenstar nodded in agreement. “Yes.” Swiftstar said. Kayo looked thoughtful for a second then nodded. “We should drive them out!” He announced. I heard a chorus of agreement. “I say we attack in three days. Then we have time to get ready but we don’t give them enough time to figure out what we’re doing.” Swiftstar suggested. The other leaders nodded. “We will attack in three days at dusk.” Holly announced. “If that’s it then This gathering is over.” She leaped down from the rock. I watched the other leaders jump down and I started to walk over to where the Boulderclan wolves where meeting. Seeing my parents I bounded over to them. “That was great!” I said excitedly. My parents nodded. I followed them as we started to head back to camp.

Next chapter is done!!!
Chapter 3
I paced restlessly as I waited for the clan to come back. There were a few other wolves here with me. I felt like I would burst if I had to keep waiting. It was three days after the gathering and the clans where attacking The Fangs right now but they had said I couldn’t come. I heard paw steps getting close to camp. I looked up as the warriors came back. All of them where injured and I stared in shock at the unmoving bodies. The Fangs had killed three of the clan’s warriors!!!!!! I looked around and spotted my parents. I felt a rush of relief that they weren’t dead. I run up to them. “Did you win? Did you?” I asked. There was no doubt I my mind that they had won so imagine my shock when Dad shook his head. I looked at him shocked. “How did you lose!!?” I asked shocked. It seemed impossible to me that they could have lost but they had. I looked back at the dead warriors. I spotted something white glistening in all of their necks. “What’s that?” I asked pointing to the white think. “A Fang.” Mom answered. I felt sick. Why would a wolf put a fang in a dead wolf’s neck? I thought but it made perfect sense. The reason they where called The Fangs. These wolves where evil. They wanted to kill us all. Kayo leaped up onto the Hanging Ledge. “Calling all of those old enough to catch their own prey join beneath the Hanging Ledge for a clan meeting.” He called. Most of the clan was already there so only a few wolves came out of their dens. I looked back up at Kayo and didn’t see their reaction. I would hate to be in Kayo’s place right now. “We lost.” He said. Most of the wolves already knew this but I heard one or two gasps in the crowed. “We need to be careful with these wolves. We did reduce their number to 15 but they are still very dangerous. If you see one of them then run. Don’t try to fight them because you most likely will die.” He continued. Kayo then leaped down from the ledge signaling that the meeting was over. Wolves went over to the medicine wolf to be treated and others went to prepare the bodies for the vigil. I looked around. Suddenly the camp didn’t feel safe. It was like there were 15 eyes watching me. It was creepy. Very creepy.

Chapter 4
I padded through the forest. Two pelts brushed against mine. The pelts were Para and Karo. They were my very best friends in the whole clan. Well anyway we had been sent on a hunting mission by our mentors and I know I was really looking forward to this. We had made up a way to use every advantage we could to hunt down deer. Today we were hoping to take down the biggest, strongest deer we could. Karo sniffed the air. He had one of the best noses in the clan. He flicked his ears north. Me and Para both dropped into a crouch. Hey! Have I ever mentioned how cute Para is. Uh never mind. Karo lead the way, his belly fur brushing the ground, with Para and I close behind. I heard the deer before I could really see them. This is where we split. There was a stream I could see and that’s where Karo went because his of his blue pelt. Para crept over to some shadows which is wear she blends in great. I went over to some rocks. My yellow fur matched better here then any where else. I snuck around the outside of the herd, keeping so that my pelt matched the rocks. I could hardly see Para in the shadows as she crept along keeping even with me. I saw Karo getting in position to strike. He did at that moment. He leaped away from were he was hiding and ran across the ground towards a young buck. It would take all three of us to take it down. We put our plan into action. Karo chased the buck right to where I was hiding. I exploded away from my hiding spot and tore after the buck. It turned around and raced across to wear Para was waiting. The buck never knew she was there till it was too late. She leaped on top of the deer and grabbed its neck. I jumped onto its back while Karo grabbed its legs and pulled the deer fell to the ground. I put all my weight on it trying to keep the buck pinned. Karo ran and kicked the deer's head till there was a ear popping crack! The buck was dead! I looked up. Para had let go of the buck and Karo was looking very proud. Now we had a new problem to face. How do we get it back to camp? Para jumped in this time. “Acorn, you grab the back of the deer.” She directed. “Karo, you get the front and I'll get the middle.” I walked over to the back portion of the deer and grabbed it. When I looked up, Karo had the deers neck in his mouth. Para ducked and crawled under the deer. She pushed op so the deer was on her back. We slowly began to move. After what seemed like forever, I could finally see the camp entrance. As we walked into camp, all eyes turned to us. I felt pride zip through me. This was great. We walked over to the food pile and dropped the deer there. I looked up as our mentors walked over. “Good catch.” Barkstorm praised us. This is great. I thought. This was going to be good.

I think Acorn has wolf ADHD or something. He is not patient at all.
Chapter 5
I paced outside the nursery. Mom was having ANOTHER litter of pups. I don't think Mom and Dad meant to do it this time though. They where umm kinda surprised when they learned they where going to have another litter. Have I ever told you that I am NOT patient at all. UUGG!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't take waiting any longer. It would kill me. After what seemed like a life time the medicine wolf came out. He looked up at me and nodded. FINNALLY!!!! It was a signal that I could go in. I trotted over to the nursery and walked in. My parents where over in a corner so I walked over to them. My father looked at me and signaled for me to be quiet. I peered over and looked at the pups. There where two females. I had two little sisters. One of the pups was all white, with rainbow ears, green paws, and a yellow tail-tip. The other one was all white with a green under-belly and yellow paws. Dad looked down at them. “We need to name them.” He said. My mom nodded. She looked down at the pups too. “We should name the white one with the green under-belly, Amy.” Dad suggested. My mom nodded in agreement. “We should name the other one.......” Mom's voice trailed off as she thought of a perfect name. I looked at my little unnamed sister. “Why don't you call her Naroka.” I said wondering if they would take the name into consideration. “Yes.” My mom breathed. My dad nodded. “Amy, Naroka, and Acorn.” My mom said the name of all her pups. I looked down at my new sisters. My heart swelled. I already liked them a lot and I couldn't wait till they where older.

Chapter 6 is done!!!!!!!!!!
Chapter 6
I dropped into the hunters crouch. Dad was right beside me. He signaled to a limping deer. He started to circle it. I circled it to. I kept my eye on the target. The herd had no idea that they were being hunted. My dad lifted his tail. I tensed. He brought it down and we both lunged forward right towards the deer we planned on catching. The herd scattered in fear. I started to nip at the deer’s legs while my dad leaped on top of it. It was more feisty then we had expected. It started to buck trying to kick me in the face and kick Dad off of it. I slowed down and fell back till I was out of range. I still drove it on though so it had to keep running. I saw my dad bite at the deer’s throat. It slowed down so it could buck Dad off. As soon as it did that I would nip at its legs and make it run faster. Soon the deer fell over and died. I watched my dad get off of the deer. “That was great.” I panted. Dad nodded. “See why you have to practice it a lot.” He asked. There was blood on his mouth from biting the deer. I nodded. Suddenly dad sighed. I looked at him confused. It had been a couple of months since the clans had attacked The Fangs we had heard from them but we tried to keep away from them. “I wish your mother was here to hunt with us.” He said. The pups are a month old right now and today they are going to try meat. “When Amy and Naroka become apprentices then we can all hunt together.” I barked happily. Dad looked up at me. “I bet they're hungry. We had better take this back.” He said and picked up the antlers. I ran and grabbed the hind legs. Slowly we made our way back to camp. When we made it we were greeted by happy barks. A pup jumped on me making me fall. I looked up to see Amy. “Hahaha!!!!! I got you!!!!!!!” She yipped happily. “Not for long!” I barked back. I gently pushed her off and went to pin her down. “I will eat you now!” I said evilly. “Speaking of eating.” Mom said. “I think its time for Amy and her sister to try some meat.” I let Amy up. “Now?!” She asked. She was quivering with excitement. Mom nodded. Amy pounced on the deer and took a bite. “Yum!!!” She yipped. Naroka bounded over and started eating. “It’s delicious!” She barked. I was feeling hungry my self so I went and got a rabbit from the pile and eat it. The sun was starting to set. “Time for bed.” Mom said. “But we don’t wanna go to bed.” Both of my little sisters complained. I watch till Mom got both pups into the nursery. I walked into the apprentice den and laid down on my bed. I closed my eyes and quickly fell asleep. I was in for a rude awakening.

This is the chapter where everything starts going down-hill. Poor Acorn!!!!!!!!
Chapter 7
“FIRE!!!! FIRE!!!!!! Everyone get out of camp!!!!!!!!!!” The voice cut into my sleep. “Whhhaaaaaaa…………” I stammered still half asleep. An acid scent came to my noise and heat pounded my face. I shot up and raced out of the den. The clan was gathering. Kayo looked around. “We need someone to check all the dens to make sure everyone’s out. Any volunteers?” He called. I looked around. There was a bright light coming from outside of camp. I looked closer to see flames leaping out and I could tell that they were headed for camp. So that’s a fire. I thought. “I’ll do it!” The sound of Aaron’s voice snapped me back to reality. The clan was in danger. Kayo nodded. Aaron ran to all the dens and looked inside them. I saw my parents and ran over to them. Each had a pup in their mouth. “Every ones out!” Aaron called. Kayo nodded. “Lets go.” He said and led the way out of camp. I stayed with my parents. Both pups where looking around wide eyed. I could now hear the roar of the flames. We were falling behind. “Come on.” Dad said through a mouthful of Amy’s fur. He put on a burst of speed. Me and Mom raced to catch up with him and the clan. Black smoke suddenly rolled in. I coughed. I didn’t like this smoke. I couldn’t see Dad or the clan anymore. Mom drew a head of me and I pelted to keep up. “Mom wait!!!!!” I screamed. Coughing I struggled to keep up. Suddenly Mom was standing right in my way. “Mom what are you doing??!!!” I screamed skidding to a stop. Mom’s eyes seemed different. She no longer had the pup in her mouth but I could Naroka hear farther up ahead. Mom took a step forward so I took a step back. I felt fear grip me. “Mom??..” I said. “You’re the reason we’ve grown apart!!” Mom growled. Something flashed in her eyes. “What!?” I said. What was wrong with Mom??? It suddenly hit me. Dad had been spending more time with me then her. But they had been hunting for her. “No, no, no! He can’t wait to spend time with you.” I said desperately. Heat was at my back. Smoke filled my nostrils. The roar of the fire was in my ear. “You’re lying!” She screamed. I also remembered Flower trying to be mates with Dad but he had refused every time. “He loves you.” I screamed over the roar of the fire. She didn’t seem to hear. Suddenly Mom spun around and kicked me. I got knocked backwards into a bramble bush. My left paw faced the fire. I started struggling knowing that if I didn’t get untangled then the fire would git me. Mom spun around. She raced away into the black smoke but she didn't grab Naroka. I couldn't her hear anymore either. My throat hurt from the smoke. The more I struggled the more I got tangled. The bush started to catch on fire. I felt tears start to form. I was going to die. My paw touched the fire. I screamed. Tears rolled down my muzzle. Not just of pain but of loneliness. Betrayed. My fur caught on fire. Pain seared through me. The fire went up my arm. It caught my back. The whole bush was catching on fire. Suddenly I was free. The fire had burned away the thorns and branches but had also burned me. Instantly I bolted away. I looked like a fireball. Well I was a fireball. I don’t know how long I had been running when I came up to a stream. Without thinking I leaped into it. Not the best idea ever. The fire was put out but the current was strong. I struggled to the surface and gasped for air. A wave hit me and I went under again. I had lost my sense of direction and everything was starting to go black. There was a splash and then I felt strong teeth grip my scruff. I was jerked up to the surface and I started to gasp for air. The wolf swam strongly to the side of the stream and placed me there. I laid there for a second panting. I weakly lifted my head to see what wolf it was but all I saw was the shadow of the wolf disappear on the other side of the river. I never noticed that this river was the border between Riverclan and Boulderclan. It was probably a Riverclan wolf who had saved me. I felt tiredness flow throw me. I put my head on my paws and as I did rain started to fall. That will put out the fire. I thought. My eyes closed and I drifted into sleep.

Chapter 8
I blinked open my eyes. It had been a week since the fire. Basically I had opened my eyes to have a bunch of chewed up leaves and not that much fur on me. Trust me. Not the best way to wake up. Later I learned that Mom and my sisters had died. Dad was horrified. We had moved back to the camp but it didn’t feel the same. The bushes where gone and the trees where all black. Most of all, I was bored. They wouldn’t let me train till the burns heal but that would take like FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!! I sighed and laid my head down. The only thing that wouldn't heal was my left pad. It was suppose to be green but it was charred black in the fire. The pad would be black forever. The Fang’s were attacking us. We had lost a warrior already. Winter was almost here. It was fall right now. Prey was already hard to find and the clan was hungry. I looked out of the den. Shadows moved. Whats that? I lifted my head up. The shadows moved again. Suddenly there was a screech. “Shadowclan, ATTACK!!!” The Boulderclan wolves tried to get into a defending pose but Shadowclan was faster. They pounced on my clan like they where pouncing on prey. Well they were but Boulderclan was their prey. Some wolf burst into the den. He probably didn't now what den it was. When he saw me he fell over laughing. Anger flooded me. I leap to my paws. My legs felt weak but I didn't care. I lunged forward and grabbed onto the wolf. I held onto his back by sinking my claws into it. He screeched like a pup. It made me want to laugh but I kept it in. The wolf struggled under me. I leaped off his when he tried to crush me by rolling. I ran at his exposed under-belly and scratched at it. He ran away screeching. Coward. I thought. Weakness forced me to say down again. Annoyance spread through me. I tried to stand up but couldn't. All I could do was lay there and listen to the sounds of my clanmates fighting and hope that they win.

NO!!!! I have major writers block! Its making my chapters too short!!!! I promise you. Chapter 10 will be longer then 4 paragraphs!
Chapter 9
“Shadowclan, Retreat!” The call came up after what seems like months later. The Shadowclan wolves ran out of the camp and back to their own territory. I stumbled to my paws. My strength had returned. I peeked out of the den and looked around. There was one lifeless body. My breath caught in my breath as I tried to figured out who it is. I realized it was Rockfall's dad. I turned away. I didn't want to see Rockfall's face when he figured it out. I scanned the rest of the wolves. No one seemed seriously injured. I spotted Dad talking with some other warriors. I saw Para and Karo were talking. All three of them had wounds but they didn't look that bad. The medicine wolf was moving from wolf to wolf, treating their injures. I watched because I didn't know what else to do and I wasn't suppose to be here. I didn't care. Kayo ran away from a group of warriors he had been talking to and jumped onto the Hanging Ledge. There was no need to call the clan together because everyone was there already. “Well as everyone knows, Shadowclan has attacked. We need to prove to the other clans that we are strong despite the fire.” Kayo barked. Yowls of agreement followed. Kayo had to raise his voice so everyone could hear him. “We need more border patrols on all our borders. Who knows if the other clans will attack. We must be ready!” More yowls erupted from the clan. What ever had happened Kayo always could say something to lift everyone's spirits. He's an awesome leader.

YEA!!!! Chapter 10 done!!!!!!
Chapter 10
It has been forever but finally a can start training again!!! Well it was really only a few months but it felt like forever. Dad and I were running through the forest. It felt real good to be able to do it. He had promised me to take me to a place that he liked. Soon we came to a cliff. It was dotted with foot holds but at the top was this rock. It seemed to jut out of the cliff. Dad looked at me and smiled. “Come on!” He called and started climbing. I bounded after him. All Boulderclan wolves have an instinct for climbing rocks but it still takes practice to spot all the hidden loose rocks on cliffs. I reached for the first foot hold and dug my claws into it. I pushed off with my hind legs and grabbed the next foot hold. I could tell that dad was keeping a close eye on me just in case I fell. I wasn't going to fall though. I felt like I was making slow process up the cliff but a none Boulderclan wolf would have said I was going pretty fast. After what felt like an eternity I hauled myself over the top of the cliff. I stood there panting as I tried to catch my breath. Dad ran along the cliff till he came to the boulder that seemed to jut out over the cliff. It was easy to imagine it falling but nothing happened when Dad leaped on it. “Come up here.” He invited and motioned with his tail for me to come over there. I ran over and leaped onto the boulder next to dad. “Look at the view.” He said. I cautiously peered over the edge of the boulder. I gasped. The view was amazing! The world seemed to stretch on forever. Well maybe it did. Who really knows. I couldn't look away. I could feel my dad next to me. This was great. Joy spread over me. “There’s another place I want to show you.” Dad said unexpectedly. I tore my glaze from the view back to Dad. “Whats that?” I asked curiously. He jumped off the boulder and over to the rest of the cliff. He pointed up with his tail. I followed his gaze and saw a ledge high over my head. I could guess immediately what he was talking about. I heard some one climbing the rocks and looked to see Kayo. What is he doing? I thought. He looked straight into Dad's eyes and said “Your not really going to climb it? You know no ones ever been able to do it.” Dad replied “Yes I am and yes I know.” His eyes sparkled with determination. I blinked in shock. No one had ever made it up to that ledge! Kayo stared evenly back at Dad. ""Even though everyone who has tried has died?” He asked. Dad nodded. I couldn't believe this. No one had ever survived but Dad was going to try anyway! Was he crazy. Kayo held his gaze for a while but then finally nodded. “Fine but it is your fault if anything happens. Dad smiled. He turned around and walked over to the cliff. My breath caught in my throat. I followed him. “Dad.” I said softly. He turned around. Looking me straight in the eye he whispered so that only I could here him “I love you Acorn no matter what happens.” He turned around and I could only watch as Dad grabbed hold of a rock and started climbing. Kayo stood next to me. My eyes never left Dad's yellow body as he got higher and higher. My breath caught in my throat. He was almost to the ledge. He was going to do it! Just as the thought crossed my brain things seemed to go into slow motion. Dad's paw slipped and he was falling. Plummeting down and down. My eyes stretched wide and it felt like everything was frozen. It was like the moment just before Dad hit the ground, time froze. After what seemed like forever, time unfroze and there was a sickening thud. No it wasn't just a thud. There was also a crack. I stared forward, I couldn't seem to move. In front of me was Dad but there was blood everywhere and he was bent at an awkward angle. Tears flooded my eyes. He couldn't be dead! I shut my eyes trying to make the terrible scene in front of me go away. Even with my eyes closed I couldn't get the scene out of my head. It was wired in my head and no matter how I tried I couldn't get it to go away. I had completely forgotten Kayo was still next to me till he started walking forward. I opened my eyes but tears flooded them and everything was wavy. Kayo waked over to Dad and whispered something that I couldn't hear. I numbly forced my paws to move. I looked down at Dad. He was surrounded by a pool of blood. His eyes where cloudy but it was obvious that he had been terrified when he had fallen. Tears rolled down my cheek. I felt Kayo put his tail around me. He was trying to comfort me but all the comfort in the world wouldn't help. Dad was still gone and there still wasn't anything I could do about it. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Kayo look at the sky. “No one will ever climb higher than this point.” He mumbled to himself.
