Naroka crept forward. Her amber eyes locked on the deer herd in front of her. She was careful to stay down wind so the herd couldn't smell her. She carefully set down her green paws so they wouldn't make noise. She used the rocks around her for cover because she knew that her creamy white fur stood out well on the rocks. Instinct told her that she should pick a weak deer. It made sense to her. She looked around and spotted a baby deer at the edge of the herd. That would be her target. Swiftly but quietly she put herself in a position where she could easily get to the deer but was down wind from the herd. Trying her best to time it right she leaped out of her hiding spot. She ran so that she was right behind the deer. The herd sped up making Naroka run faster. The deer was faster then she had expected. When she was close enough Naroka leaped and landed on top of the deer. She dug her claws into the side of it and bite at its neck. Blood rushed into her mouth making her mouth water. She put all her weight on it trying to make it fall. Naroka could feel the deer getting weaker. She chomped down harder. Determination surged through her. The deer fell to the ground. It died soon after. Naroka looked down at her prey proudly and hungrily. It had been awhile since she had had a good kill. She sank her teeth into it hungrily and started to eat. When she had finished she started to groom her pelt. It was a little tangled and her ribs showed. She liked her silky pelt. She looked up. The moon was starting to rise so Naroka tipped her head back and howled. She howled for awhile before stopping. She waited but there was no howl back. She felt a pang of loneliness. Where where other wolves or was she the only one. She wouldn't believe that she was the last one. She would find other wolves. She picked up her kill and started to drag it to a rocky cave she had seen. She walked in and dropped her kill. She laid down and quickly fell asleep. Naroka blinked open her eyes. It was morning. She eat a little bit of the deer then walked outside. A movement caught her eye. Her head snapped in that direction. Hope blazed through her. Was that a wolf I just saw? The question ran in her mind over and over again.
(was that too long??? If it was I can shorten it.)

(Nope! It was a good size!)
Bonsagi quickly jumped to the side of the rocks, trying to hide himself among the rocks. If he curled up tight enough, he might look like a rock, so Bonsagi tucked his tail between his legs, tucked his head inwards and used his paws to cover them, and curled as tightly as he could. It hurt, but he did not want to be discovered. He was doing something important, that did not involve wolves he knew were not from the Asagi pack. Bonsagi was trying to find survivors of his pack, and clearly this wolf was not one of them. She had no sign, so of course she was not of the Asagi pack.

Naroka ran forward her eyes scanning the rocks. She raced forward and tripped over Bonsagi. She looked up and saw him. "Hi!!!" She said happily. She stood up her tail wagging. " Are you a wolf? Are there others? Where are they?" She asked her voice sounded rough because she hadn`t used it much. The questions sounded strange but Naroka didn`t know that. Her amber eyes alive with hope.

Bonsagi raised one eyebrow at the new wolf. "Yes, there are other wolves. What wolf does not know that? And yes, of course I am a wolf! And I can see that you are too! I have seen billions of wolves in my life, but of course, don't all wolves?" Bonsagi barked, confused that this wolf did not know anything about her own kind. "An what is your name?" He asked.

She yipped. Her amber eyes looked at Bonsagi with curiosity. She cocked her head waiting for Bonsagi to answer.

"My name's Bob!" Bonsagi barked sarcastically. Really, what wolf blurts out her own name to another wolf? Especially one she does not know? He could be one of the Fangs, for all she knows! Bonsagi shuddered at that thought, he could never be a Fang! "But really, I think I know what you need. " Bonsagi barked through gritted teeth.

Naroka nodded not catching the sarcastic in his voice. "Hi Bob." She barked. She wondered why 'Bob' shuttered. It definatly wasn't cold. She cocked her head to the left feeling comfused. "What do I need?" She asked, confusen sparkled in her amber eyes.

"Well, you need a mentor to teach you how to live. I will do that! Second, my name isn't bob! I was 'testing' you to see what a wolf like you would do. Now, follow me, I will take you to the top of this mountain, were I can tell you what you need to know without others watching. c'mon!" Bonsagi barked, and started to climb as fast as he could, seeing if she could keep up with him.

"Uuhh... OK!" Naroka barked not really knowing what he meant. She looked up as Bonsagi started to climb. He could climb pretty fast. Naroka pushed off with her hind legs and easily made it to the next foot hold. She pushed off again and grabbed the next rock with her front paws. Naroka was starting to get into a rythme. She didn't try to go fast but she was very fast. The movement of her legs, her muscles pushing and pulling, her claws sinking into the small cracks, the vibrations that only she could feel when she moved, the wind in her fur, and even the sun on her fur. It felt so good, so natrual like she had been taught to do it but she hadn't. She felt a vibration from the ground. She knew it was the deer herd without even looking down. That could be important for later. "Deer herd, north of here, traveling at a farely fast pace." Naroka said to Bonsagi. She was now even with him and easily keeping up.

Bonsagi was surprised twice with Naroka. " Have you heard of the four clans?" Bonsagi asked, wondering if she came from Boulderclan. Bonsagi was almost certain she did, because she could climb like one.

"The four clans..Let me explain it.." Bonsagi started, confused at how she did not know. "There are four clans of wolves...Shadowclan, Boulderclan, Riverclan and Lightningclan. They all have their own special abilities. Shadowclan can hide in the shadows and not be seen. Boulderclan can climb rocks really quickly. Riverclan can swim really well. And Lightningclan can fight and run swiftly and Gracefully." Bonsagi finished, and thought about testing her.

"Well, race you to the top of the mountain!" Bonsagi randomly barked, hoping to throw her mind off the clans, and make her not realize that this was to see what she specialized in. "Go!" He howled, and leaped for a rock. He grabbed on and began to climb up the mountain. They weren't that far below the peak, only about 20 yards away from the top. So Bonsagi climbed as fast and as hard as his Boulderclan training let him. The four clans made the Asagi Pack need to practice their special skills to turn it into the clans' disadvantage during fight. Hiding in the shadows wouldn't work for Shadowclan during a battle because the Asagi Pack would just fight them from the shadows, and hide even better than Shadowclan in the shadows. But one tactic they couldn't master was Boulderclan's. No matter how many times they practiced, they could not climb rocks as amazingly as Boulderclan. If Naroka was from Boulderclan, than she would beat him in the race.

"Ok!" Naroka barked. She leap after Bonsagi. Her paws grabbed the rock with such speed and grace that it was hard to imagine her being from anywhere but Boulderclan. She pushed off with her hind legs. She could tell by instinct that it was easier to jump from rock to rock then to pull yourself from crack to crack. A foot away were some rocks so thats where Naroka went. She lept onto the rocks and jump from one to another. It was much faster then what Bonsagi was doing. She pushed off with her hind legs and landed smoothly on the next rock. She was great at this but Naroka's insinct told her to be carefull anyway. She easily over took Bonsagi. On the last rock she pushed off and grabbed a ledge because it was too far to jump. She dug her claws on her hind legs into the cliff and loosened her front ones. It was defenitly a Boulderclan move. She lonched herself up and landed on the ledge they were racing to. She looked down and saw that Bonsagi was still climbing. "Come on slow poke!" She barked impatiently.
